Professor Jonathan Paul DeVierville, Ph.D., is director and founder of the Alamo Plaza Spa and received his spa training at the Kneipp School in Germany and in Karlsbad Czech Republic. He is board member of the International Spa Association Foundation and the American Massage Therapy Association Foundation. Annually he conducts Spa Cultures, Dreams & Healing Waters at European Spa towns.



                                                                                                                                                                      He bases his programs on the holistic herbal and water therapy developed by the Catholic priest Sebastian Kneipp in the 1890's in the Bavarian spa village of Bad Worishofen (southern Germany).






This program goes beyond pampering. It's not an indulgence but a way of life. The Alamo Plaza Spa at the Menger Hotel is located deep in the heart of San Antonio, Texas. Right next door to the Alamo and a short walk from most downtown hotels.
